What to Expect When Particapting on a Team
Whether a newcomer or a returning member, below, you'll find all the key information you need to have a sucessful season.

Practices Beginning in December

Each team sets their own practice schedules. However, it usually includes a Tuesday or Thursday evening practice, as well as a Saturday or Sunday team ride.

Brumley Forest Nature Preserve, Little River, Carolina North, Lake Crabtree, Rock Quarry Park (and maybe others!)

Helmet

Bikes - must have knobby tires at least 1.75 inches wide and at least

26 inch wheels in diameter; front suspension strongly recommended

Water bottle and cage, and/or hydropack; and snack

Lights (front & rear)

A way to transport the bike

Races

Races are held on Sundays, with courses open to pre-rides on Saturday. Usually on-site camping is available.
